Who We Are
Benjamin Bai
President
Ben is a senior student enrolled at Fleetwood Park Secondary. He has ventured through the world of music, and has found passion and grew his roots in Piano. Now almost a decade has passed since Ben has started, having won many festivals and competitions along the way, ranging from small Fraser Valley all the way up to Vancouver festivals. And now he finds joy and comfort in passing on his experiences with others as a teacher and mentor. He is honored with the role of general staff, being able to help others grow, and be a lending hand, in helping everyone achieve their goals. Within his free time, he likes to dwell on the ever so expanding world of computers, and of course, does like to entertain himself with video games.
Owen Cui
Vice-President // Co-Founder
Currently in grade 12 at Fleetwood Park Secondary, Owen Cui has experienced music throughout his entire life, and enjoys sharing his music with others. He is able to contribute to the club while simultaneously combining his love of music and technology into one role. Music wise, Owen achieved RCM Level 10 First Class Honors for piano, and has gotten gold in multiple piano festivals in the past. He has played tenor saxophone in concert band for 3 years, attending band festivals in Whistler. Now, he enjoys finding pieces from the internet to practice in his free time, as well as practicing for coding competitions and expanding his knowledge of technology.
Chelsea Kim
Secretary
Chelsea Kim is a grade 12 student at Fraser Heights secondary, currently serving as the Secretary for the club. She has been playing the piano for around 10 years, and has been part of her church band for 6 years. Although she quit playing a couple times throughout the 10 years, her love for music has always brought her back. She is fortunate enough to be connected to other students who are passionate about music, and through this opportunity, Chelsea hopes to contribute to her community while doing what she loves. Beyond the club, Chelsea enjoys taking long walks outside and studying with her friends.
